You might want to go ask over at the baka-tsuki.net forums. If anyone could steer you in the right direction it's probably those folks.
I found the novels and fix them (the data was corrupted) so I give you a link to download. Rar file contains the first 8 novels and the "Suzumiya Haruhi theater". Use them 'wisely', for language study or plasure, but don't sell them or anything like that or Haruhi and I will kick your @$$ so hard that it'll hurt the rest of your live (LOL) Well enjoy them as I'm doing right now!
