The next two were translated by me. If there are any download problems or corrections to be made, just e-mail me. My address is in the .rar files.

Awesome, thanks for these. Are there any other translations over there that haven't been posted yet (considering the ALDH crisis translation is 3 weeks old already)?

>> No.18087

Something up with your RAR files. I try to open em but they aren't recognized as RAR files. :[

>> No.18089

>>18083

Argh please not rapidshare T_T The torrents only have 0 Seeders, so...

But anyway thank you very much for the translation. You´re awesome^^

sweet

thanks for the translations, I can continue to be lazy~

>> No.18092

Indeed, all of these look great, thanks for posting them!

One question though, you mention the SOS Brigade Livejournal? Just what is that? I'm not really up to speed with stuff like that, sorry.

>> No.18093

Oh, one more thing. There's one slight problem with the copy of girlfriend that I got. I downloaded from the badongo one, and it's fine for the most part. But image 12 simply won't load it seems. I've tried using multiple programs, but it doesn't seem to want to work.

Thanks for the alerts. Luckily I have the files on my iPod so I can upload them here at school. Sorry for the difficulties. Here are the corrections, plus .zip (not .rar) alternative downloads.

Not that I've been able to see, no. Then again, I haven't looked that far.

>>18092
The link to the LJ is here --> http://community.livejournal.com/sos_brigade. I've been a member for only about a week, though.

>>18095
Thanks for calliing me a moron. Those files were archived on a Mac, and they work as .rar files on Mac. Look above for .zip file alternatives.

>> No.18100

>>18098

I'm 18087, I'm on a Mac, and I can't work these as RAR files.

So methinks 'moron' is appropriate.

>> No.18101

>>18094

Thanks for the page, Tsuruya-Beam. Much appreciated.

>>18098

And thank you for the link. Now, you're probably going to hear this a lot considering, but I suppose if you don't mind my asking: you planning on doing more translation projects? And if so, any particular books? Just figured that I would ask, because I know that I'm curious at least.

>> No.18103

>>18098
That's rather harsh for someone who's doing translations for us. Just shut up. Ignore that poster, please. The rar files work fine for me.

>> No.18104

THANK YOU!! I've wanted these douinshis translated for a long, long, LONG time!! :P~~~

Are you planning to do more, perchance?

>> No.18107

If you don't mind my asking, are you working on more translations, or do you know where else to get more? And thank you very much for the ones you did, by the way.

>> No.18109

>>18098
nobody in their right mind would rename a zip file to .rar
just because your particular app on your particular computer disregards the extension and uses the resource fork info instead, that info isn't uploaded with the file, so on any other computer it'd be an unreadable file UNLESS that app also disregards the file extension

I appreciate the translation, but nonetheless, saving a zip as .rar is moronic. You cannot possibly have a reason to do so, other than not knowing what you're doing.

>> No.18110

>>18100

I don't really know what you're talking about. The RARs opened up fine for me on my PC. In any case, if you can't download the RARs, take the ZIP files.

>> No.18113

>>18107
Seconded.

>> No.18122

OMG!! So you can draw AND read Japanese?? I'd hate you, but I'm too grateful to. ^o^ "Crisis" is so funny (the part where Itsuki yells about swelling is so creepy hilarious) and "No Cold Heart" is just so sweet and sad. "Girl Friend" was my favorite, though. ^^

Also, on behalf of the idiot here who's bandying about the word "moron" with impunity, I apologize!! We're really not all like that on this board, so please post more here if and when you do get more translations done!!

>> No.18142

As a fellow translator, I can really empathize with the amount of time and effort it took to translate these (I see you're a fellow Blambot subscriber? :D). I actually started on "Girl Friend" but got sidetracked by web manga and one-shots. You're probably faster at it than I am; most of my translations are restricted to the SOS wiki. :) Thanks for sharing and I hope you do more.

And I just wanted to say that unlike LJ (which I presume you came from), you have to know these kinds of boards will always have people whose computer know-how outweigh their social skills and basic etiquette. Food for thought.

>> No.18158

Oh dear, it was certainly not the intention of this thread to psychologically scar anyone with my choice of file format! I must apologize. Ah, well, to me the most important thing is that the files are out and accessible, eh?

>>18142
Yeah, I kind of got that. And Blambot is a lifesaver. I used to use only Dupuy and Gnatfont!

As for future translations, I only have five Haruhi doujins (counting the three above) that were sent to me by a friend, the last two being "SOS Complex" and "Ponitte Haruhi". I intend to comb the older threads on this board to locate more. But since it's schooltime again, I'll have to do my translating between homework and such.

>> No.18174

>>18158

Even though school is tough I hope that we do see more translations from you, in the future!

I actually doubt that you'll have to do much searching, if you want. People will probably be ahem more than happy to give you suggestions and send you stuff. But in all honesty, is there any particular circle or artist whose doujins you would prefer to work on in particular?

>> No.18182

>>18158

Yay, I'm so glad you might do more!! No hurry, really...school is important, too after all! ^^ I can't remember which one "Ponitte Haruhi" is, but I love "SOS Complex"! So I'll be happy if that's the next one. If you need help searching, let me know!!

Oh, and by the way, what's "Blambot"??

>> No.18184

Can you do hentai doujinshi? Just curious.

Glad to see that you weren't put off by that asshole earlier. It really pissed me off, actually, but I guess people with issues need to vent somewhere. :)

I already translated some pages from "SOS Complex" and a couple of others (never the entire thing, though; I guess I don't have as much patience). If you want, I could email them to you. Actually, just check your inbox later; I'll just give you the info you might need. :)
