Addendum: I guess ideally you'd get an actual japanese person to type out the writing, surely it can't be that hard to read for a skilled person or else the series wouldn't be so popular.

Nobody scanned it. This is a common occurence, 90% of doujins never get scanned because to make a good scan you have to destroy your copy.

Yeah, until better scanning technology comes out a lot of people aren't willing to rip apart a book in order to get it on the internet, or even to have a digital copy. It's rather sad, but understandable.
